To Manifest: to realize the power of intention.

New media artists face an over stimulated digital world and have learned to navigate a multitude of platforms and technologies, conscientiously manifesting alternative pathways of expression and exchange. These spaces must prioritize care, freeing artists to move along diverse exploratory and innovative trajectories.

Yet, in today’s unsettling socio-political climate, with its systemic constraints, remnants of colonialism, and biases ingrained within societal structures, the preservation of this concept of care is paramount.

We believe it is our responsibility to navigate thoughtfully through this landscape, where technology protects and nurtures creative expression. We envision a future where new media technology enhances our human experience. We aspire towards tranquility amidst the chaos. The frantic, attention-driven nature of the digital now is replaced by a harmonious interaction with technology.

MANIFEST:IO stands forth as a platform of hope and support, advocating for change. We stand in solidarity with those who strive towards a more just society.
