We believe in creating an egalitarian space for artists, designers, performers and researchers, across disciplines and at all stages of their careers, who believe in new media and electronic art as a tool for active discourse.

Harshini J. Karunaratne

MANIFEST:IO Co-Founder and Lead Curator

Harshini is a Sri Lankan-Peruvian digital visual artist and curator working at the intersections of film, theatre and technology. Rooted in a practice of artistic research and performance, their work explores themes of eco-grief, gender, the body and afterlife. In their curatorial practice, Harshini is concerned with how new media and electronic art can contribute to meaningful discourse.

Spatial media scenographer, architect, musician, educator, and the visionary behind Slowfuture, Basel specializes in crafting intricate and spatial sound experiences for exhibitions, pavilions, and installations. His work centers on the intersection of spatial sound and AR/VR immersive experiences, while also actively researching interactive and transmedia narrative techniques within digital and hybrid media environments.
